MENTAL HEALTH COACHING - LEARN THE SKILLS TO TAKE FULL CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE

Hello

My name is James Huxley, I live in Kenilworth in the UK where I currently work as a Thrive Programme Mental Health coach.

I help and guide people through a psychological training programme over 6-8 weeks that is designed to help people learn how to take full control of their mental health and love their life!

The Thrive Programme® is a proven, evidence-based training programme that gives you the insight, skills and tools to take real control of your thoughts, emotions and mental health — and start living the life you actually want.

It's not therapy, and it's not counselling. Instead of dwelling on the past or handing you coping mechanisms to manage symptoms as they arise, this is education combined with action. Week by week, you'll gain genuine insight into how your mind works, why you have your symptoms and how to change things like — your self-esteem, your mindset, and your underlying beliefs that have been quietly running the show — with practical tasks to put that understanding straight into practice.

That combination of learning and doing is, in my experience is what actually creates lasting change. So many people are stuck living with stress, anxiety, low mood, unhelpful habits, and negative thinking — not because something is wrong with them, but because no one has ever shown them how their own mind works and how to control how they think, feel and react!

Once you understand how your belief systems, thinking styles, and cognitive biases have been shaping your reality, it stops being a mystery — and starts being something you can actually manage and change.

You don't need to be struggling to benefit from this programme. I'm working with more and more people who have little or no mental health difficulties at all — they've simply decided they want to be more emotionally and psychologically strong, and get more out of life.

So whoever you are and wherever you're starting from, Thrive can help you get to where you want to be!

I offer a free intro call, so you can ask any questions, get a feel for whether the programme is right for you, and get to know me a little before you decide if you want to go ahead!

WHAT IS THE THRIVE PROGRAMME?

The Thrive Programme® is a science-backed mental health training programme designed to give people the understanding, tools and practical skills to work through psychological struggles, take charge of their thoughts and feelings, and get the most out of life.

It's important to understand that Thrive isn't therapy or counselling in the traditional sense. Instead of dwelling mainly on past experiences or teaching coping strategies to manage symptoms as they arise, it takes an educational, hands-on approach. Participants come away with real clarity about how their own mind operates — their core beliefs, sense of self-worth, and habitual thinking patterns — with practical exercises and homework built into every stage.

That combination of learning and doing is, in my view, what really drives lasting change. So many people today are caught in cycles of stress, anxiety, low mood, unhelpful habits, and negative thinking.

The truth is, most people have never been taught how their mind actually functions — how belief systems, cognitive biases, self-worth, and thinking habits shape their day-to-day experience. Given that gap in understanding, it's little wonder so many struggle with their mental wellbeing. You can't really get a handle on your mind without first understanding how it operates and how to work with it effectively.

Because of this, the programme has something to offer almost anyone. And increasingly, as people place greater importance on looking after their mental health, I'm seeing more clients come to Thrive not because they're dealing with a specific issue, but simply because they want to build greater psychological resilience and emotional strength in their lives.

That said, most people who come to me are dealing with a specific issue. The concerns I most commonly help people work through include depression, anxiety, panic attacks, stress, emetophobia, phobias, social anxiety, and addiction and self esteem issue.
